    Master Farmer Feeds (Pty) Ltd is a private limited liability company incorporated in Botswana in year 1998. The company is made up of three divisions, namely Nutri Feeds, Ross Breeders and Oistens (Pty) Ltd.

    The company’s main businesses are manufacturing and distribution of animal feeds (Nutri Feeds Division) rearing breeders, producing hatching eggs, hatching and selling day old chicks (Ross Breeders Botswana division), and, rearing, slaughter of broiler chickens and distribution (Oistins division).

    Nutri Feeds Botswana
    Nutri Feeds Botswana is an animal feed manufacturing and distribution division of the company situated and is situated in Pilane, Botswana. Nutri Feeds is the biggest feed manufacturing company in Botswana with a manufacturing capacity ofaround 10,000 tonnes a month.

    Nutri Feeds staff complement is around 120 employees including Finance and admin staff of 15.The Nutri Feeds plant was built by the Namib Milling Group in 2004. It was purchased by Ross Africa in 2008.

    Nutri Feeds Botswana is ably led by our GM Doug Gwilliam. Since taking on the challenge of running the business in 2014 he has taken the business from strength to strength.

    Ross Breeders Botswana
    Ross Breeders Botswana produces hatching eggs and day old chicks and is based in Notwane, Botswana. Ross Breeders is the biggest day old chick manufacturing unit in Botswana and the manufacturing capacity is 1,650,000 day old chicks a month.

    Ross Breeders has two Breeder Farms, one in Thamaga and the other in Molepolole. Also, it has two hatcheries, one in Notwane and the other in Francistown.

    Currently Ross Breeders employees around 250 employees including Finance and admin staff of 6. The General Manager of Ross Breeders is Antony Gladman who is relatively new to the company but has made great strides in his time here.

    Oistins
    Oistins is the broiler chicken producing and processed chicken manufacturing division of the company. It is situated in Shashe, Francistown, Botswana. Oistins Broiler farm capacity is 326,000 broiler birds at any given time and abattoir capacity is 8,000 birds per day.

    Currently Oistins employees around 250 employees including Finance and admin staff of 6.From November 2015 these two operations are rented out to a company named, Business Surge (Pty) Ltd.

    Oistins also has rented in two farms in Motswane and Lobotse areas which grow on average 110,000 broiler birds a cycle. The birds grown on these farms are sold as live birds as part of a contract growing scheme.
